The dance floor is my church.

Dancing is my religion: the dance floor is my church. Everyone is welcome for I will dance with you all. Ballroom, freestyle, line dancing, square dancing: whatever you’ve got I’ll dance it and love it.

I have taken Ballroom Dance lessons for well over fifteen years. It felt like my personal laboratory to discover how men think. Ballroom dance is all about relationship: each man I dance with I have a dance relationship with. Like all relationships, some are better than others!

Cheryl has taken ballroom dance lessons in the past and in Entering the West, she returns to the studio.

Dance is also very important to the Indigenous people of the Americas, past and present, from the prairie nations and their secret societies to the Maya whose Kings danced at ceremonies of accession and religious meaning.
