The Maya Creation Story…the center of the universe was a three-stone hearth. Just like the center of a Mexican home is the three-stone hearth where the women cook the maize.
There can many layers of reality, some seen and some unseen. On magical nights, we can see what’s been hidden from us. Among others, there are four times of the year when this can occur: the two solstices and the two equinoxes.

The weather in Calgary can change very quickly and for a photographer that makes for a lot of interesting lighting conditions. If you happen to be in the right spot, and look around, there is always a new way to photograph something familiar.
